The assassination of John F. Kennedy took place on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas in Dealey Plaza. He was fatally shot in a presidential motorcade while his wife, Jacqueline, was in the seat next to him. The American public concluded that he was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, although many believe that he was shot in a conspiracy with people including Jack Ruby, who killed Lee Harvey Oswald before his trial.
